Swiss interior designor Till Könneker created what just might be one of the most brilliant innovations we have seen. This is called the living cube. It takes your college dorm room bunk bed and makes it at least a million times cooler. This is GENIUS for a small space with limited storage.
As you can see in the first photo, this design lets the side wall store a TV, your awesome vintage record selection (or books, dvds, photos maybe?), shelving for shoes, a rack for hanging your jackets, and shelf above it for some folded items.
To take it a step further, there’s a DOOR on the side! Say what? We’re not even sure what he has in there, but we’d like to think it’s an amazing walk-in closet. Or half-closet-half-office. We don’t know. But whatever it is, it’s probably genius as well.
Now that he has the rest of the room opened up for activities, he’s created a small living-room type area in front of the TV with couches and a coffee table. This design is ideal for a studio apartment.

Growing up, My hero was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I still love the idea that a sixteen-year-old girl can save the world from a demon apocalypse. My creative career began when I was twelve years old. I wrote X-Men fanfiction about the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and my favorite character was Toad. I get my inspiration from female rappers, young adult adventure novels, dark comedy, and the seedy underbelly of the internet.
